As a Data Scientist within the Prime Video team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of entertainment. Prime Video is dedicated to providing an extensive library of movies, series, and sports content, accessible on a multitude of devices.

Our organization is focused on enhancing the customer experience by innovating and delivering efficient features. You will be part of the READI organization, which is committed to developing advanced forecasting and recommendation systems. This specialized team will leverage supervised learning algorithms to analyze multi-dimensional time series data using recurrent neural networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop forecasts on critical business metrics and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
  • Utilize your expertise in machine learning to address complex challenges with significant global impact.
  • Engage in the process of data retrieval, cleansing, and preparation of large datasets.
  • Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models, ensuring continuous monitoring and assessment.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to drive impactful solutions.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing algorithms through both established toolkits and custom code.
  • Publications in reputable peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
