As a Lead Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality assemblies that meet established standards. Your role will focus on continuous improvement to fulfill customer commitments efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow detailed work instructions to execute tasks effectively.
- Operate with minimal supervision on a variety of non-routine duties, adapting methods and tools as necessary to meet unique requirements.
- Engage in advanced assembly tasks, which may include mechanical assembly, harnessing, cable assembly, and printed circuit board sub-assemblies, typically working from technical drawings and models.

- Utilize your expertise to interpret blueprints and process flow instructions, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Perform soldering and component installation using a diverse range of tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.

- Communicate effectively with various departments, including Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing, to resolve issues and enhance collaboration.
- Serve as a resource for colleagues, assisting in the resolution of complex challenges and fostering a supportive work environment.

Safety and Training
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including proper handling of materials and equipment.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist in the orientation and training of junior employees as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a specialized area such as welding or tool making.
