ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide each customer through RWSC's Ultimate Fit Experience.
- Offer suitable accessory suggestions and educate customers on their advantages.
- Generate leads for industrial sales.
- Meet and surpass daily productivity and sales targets.
- Ensure the sales floor presentation, store signage, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Stay updated with product knowledge, technical standards, and operational procedures through ongoing education.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and legal regulations.
- Assist in the daily operations of the retail establishment.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquire necessary information by staying informed about RWSC's electronic communication tools.
- Maintain service quality by establishing, adhering to, and enforcing organizational quality system standards.
- Embody the core values of Red Wing Shoe Company.
- Exhibit willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
- Conduct oneself in accordance with RWSC policies.
- Foster collaborative relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Results-driven.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer utilization.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Comprehensive understanding of Red Wing Shoe Company's mission, values, and organizational structure.
- Knowledge of profit and loss management.
- Inquisitive nature with a passion for innovation and growth.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in retail footwear.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend/squat to lace shoes, perform overhead lifting, twist, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
Housekeeping responsibilities include but are not limited to: vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, disposing of trash, maintaining recycling, and managing furniture, fixtures, and displays.
