Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to assume the role of Chief Operating Officer at Lovelace Medical Center.
The COO will be an integral part of the senior management team, engaging in strategic, operational, and financial decision-making processes. This role will collaborate closely with the CEO to oversee hospital management, site coordination, and organizational integration, ensuring the successful execution of established goals and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative leadership and coordination for clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Work alongside the CEO to recommend policies and actions for efficient departmental operations.
- Oversee the implementation of major strategic and operational initiatives.
- Mentor and develop leadership talent, promoting high performance and innovation.
- Guide department leaders in performance measurement, productivity enhancement, and quality improvement.
- Initiate and enforce policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence.
- Lead change management efforts to achieve performance objectives.
- Participate in Board of Trustees and community meetings.
- Drive process improvements focused on innovative care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Encourage the adoption of technology to enhance operations and communication.
- Collaborate with teams to implement programs that address patient care needs.
- Ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient and family-centered care.
- Allocate resources effectively to support improvement initiatives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to optimize operational effectiveness.
- Communicate expectations and develop leaders to meet strategic priorities.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Master's degree required; MHA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in hospital administration.

- Proficient in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
