Your Responsibilities as a Provider:

As a professional in this role, you will utilize your expertise in assessing, evaluating, and diagnosing health conditions. As an independent contractor with Maximus Federal, you will apply your skills in evaluating audio conditions to assist Veterans in their disability claims. Your responsibilities will include gathering and synthesizing clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, conducting interviews with Veterans, and performing face-to-face examinations. You will formulate a medical opinion regarding the connection between the Veteran's condition and their military service. Your thorough and timely evaluations ensure that Veterans' claims are processed effectively.

Typical Workflow for Providers:

1. Receive Exam Request
2. Schedule Testing and Exam
3. Review Records
4. Complete Veteran Exam
5. Review and Submit Report

Qualifications Required:

  • Audiologist
  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D), Masters in Audiology (M.A.), Masters of Science in Audiology (M.S.), PhD in Audiology or Speech Language Pathology, Masters in Communication Disorders (MCD), or Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D)
  • Active and unrestricted license in the state where exams are conducted.

Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time

Compensation: $98,000 - $107,000.00 annually
