LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Unit:

The HICU is a 20-bed unit that provides care for patients who require attention for acute brain injuries, respiratory assistance, or special monitoring. Our team takes a collaborative approach to patient care, working closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma).
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
