Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Levindale Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our post-acute services team. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the needs of our residents. Your daily operations will include attending to the daily needs of the unit, assuming leadership responsibilities as needed, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the needs of residents
  • Attend to daily operations of the unit, including leadership responsibilities as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide basic physical assessment skills and utilize a general understanding of nursing principles to inform care decisions

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification
  • Basic computer skills, including Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine
