Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our ICU Step Down unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing skills and knowledge to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of our patients are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed, including charge nurse responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • AHA BLS CPR certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records.
