As a key member of Plastipak's Plant Accounting Team, you will collaborate closely with the plant on a variety of initiatives including financial forecasting, profitability analysis, and the establishment of standardized processes.



Your Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, track, and deliver insights on actual versus anticipated key performance indicators and site financial plans.
  • Work in partnership with the plant manager and plant controller to facilitate business operations, ensuring compliance with corporate financial policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of presentations for monthly and quarterly business evaluations, annual financial plans, and other strategic planning efforts.
  • Coordinate and participate in quarter-end and year-end physical inventory assessments.
  • Calculate costs associated with business operations, including raw material acquisitions, inventory management, and labor expenses.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support as requested by leadership.


Your Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of accounting experience is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Familiarity with SAP software is highly desirable.
