Job Summary

We are seeking an Admissions Coordinator-Residential Specialist to join our team at Saint Francis Community Services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and social services, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Screen admission calls and obtain intake information from families and agencies.
  • Communicate with referral sources to ensure timely responses to admission inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiry history and waitlist information.
  • Send necessary documents and assessments to referral sources as per admission policies.
  • Participate in formal admission review meetings with the treatment team and executive director.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Mandt training.
  • 2 years' experience in behavioral health or social services preferred.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Pass a physical examination, including drug screen and TB Skin Test.
  • Pass a Centralized Background Check through the Texas Health and Human Services Eligibility.
  • FBI Fingerprint Check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
