Nuclear Electrical Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Electrical Inspector to join our team at the U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief. As a Nuclear Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and training subordinate inspectors in a positive and professional manner.
You will ensure that personnel are sufficiently trained in the processes and responsibilities of nuclear quality control to certify that specifications are adhered to. You will also coordinate priorities and deadlines with numerous project and production personnel to maximize efficient use of personnel while meeting the Shipyard's needs.
As a Nuclear Electrical Inspector, you will identify and often resolve problems as they arise, and propose solutions to unusual or complex problems to Nuclear Inspection Division management. You will perform electronic, electrical, and electro-mechanical processes, product, and test inspections on assigned refueling and overhaul work.
You will respond to NAVSEA precepts letters as supervisor for the Training Branch. You will coordinate work with other inspection supervisors to ensure consistent inspection effort and efficient utilization of manpower.
You will ensure financial parameters for all work under assigned cognizance are met, or, when in jeopardy, communicate early with the project involved and division management.
You will carry out EEO policies and communicate support of these policies to subordinates, assuring equality in determining qualifications, selections, assignments, training, promotions, details, discipline, and awards to incumbents.
Requirements:
- Ability to lead or supervise
- Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time
