Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team at the U.S. Pacific Fleet. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and systems on nuclear ships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems on nuclear ships.
  • Determine placement of electrical distribution panels and other equipment.
  • Use theoretical practices of the trade to repair faulty electrical equipment or systems.
  • Diagnose faulty electrical equipment or systems to determine rework or replacement of faulty components.
  • Participate in medical surveillance programs and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Requirements
  • Ability to use and maintain hand tools (electrical work).
  • Ability to use electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment and theory.
  • Troubleshooting (electrical) skills.
Working Conditions

This position may require work in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present. You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs and wear personal protective equipment as required.
