Job Title: Aquatic Instructor

Are you passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals in a fun and engaging way? Do you have a strong background in aquatic instruction and rehabilitation?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatic Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As an Aquatic Instructor, you will be responsible for leading aquatic exercise classes, providing vocational assessments for consumers with disabilities, and conducting maintenance of indoor pools and spas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead individual and aquatic exercise classes
  • Provide vocational assessments for consumers with disabilities
  • Conduct maintenance of indoor pools and spas
  • Ensure all DHEC regulations are met

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
  • At least one year of experience as an aquatic instructor
  • Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and Life Guard Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire
  • Licensed Pool Operator Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Cross CPR certification
  • First Aid and Life Guard certification
  • Licensed Pool Operator certification
