Guest Services Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Associate to join our team at the Jewish Community Center. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our amenities, ensuring they are operating properly and providing exceptional service to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide superior customer service to our members, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and statistics related to our amenities, including usage levels, equipment maintenance records, and staff work schedules.
- Implement and maintain all COVID-19 safety protocols, including regular cleaning and disinfection of high-touch areas, monitoring of facility capacity limits, and adherence to distancing guidelines and mask requirements.
- Oversee the daily operations of our Private Locker Room, including towel supplies, hydration station, amenities, cleanliness, and water testing.
- Notify the Membership Director when supplies and equipment are needed.
- Greet and maintain ongoing communication with all members entering the facility via the second floor.
- Assist with monitoring the JFit Studio and Wellness Studio.
- Monitor Fitness and Wellness access via the second-floor access point located by the spa.
- Welcome and assist members/visitors with appointments for Massage and Chiropractic.
- Collaborate with Membership Management staff to maintain equipment and facilities, including chemical testing, whirlpool cleanliness, and overall facility cleanliness.
- Maintain amenities, including soaps, hydration station, fruit, and track inventory, alerting Sodexo/Membership Management staff of needed supplies.
- Report unclean conditions, safety hazards, and malfunctioning equipment to Management and Sodexo Management.
- Assist in promoting agency-wide programs to ensure the productive, effective, and efficient operation of the Agency.
- Consistently review all happenings within the JCC to share important information with our membership.
- Additional responsibilities may be added periodically based on the needs of the Membership Department and of the Katz JCC.
Requirements:
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Proven customer service (communication) skills.
- First Aid and CPR/AED certifications preferred.
- Ability to work well with others toward common goals.
- Ability to troubleshoot amenities (whirlpool, steam, sauna).
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Ability to work in multiple computer programs – Daxko, Group Ex Pro, and MindBody.
