We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Clearwater at The Heights, a premier luxury senior living community in Houston. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer quality nursing services to residents as directed by the resident's individual plan of care.
  • Perform care in accordance with the physician's orders and the plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Health Services Director.
  • Effectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basis, under the guidance of the Assisted Living Director.
  • Supervise Medication Technicians and Caregivers as assigned, to maintain and provide appropriate care.
  • Report any supervisory or performance concerns to the Assisted Living Director or designee.
  • Assess residents to identify their physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in communicating, identifying, reporting, and documenting problems, adverse reactions, or possible complications related to resident care.
  • Identify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident.
  • Document evaluation of nursing interventions, including resident response.
  • Assess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen, and/or medication administration, and assist with care plans.
  • Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director, using current nursing standards.
  • Assist with medication management program.
  • Report any allegations of resident abuse, neglect, and/or misappropriation of resident property to supervisor.
  • Participate in the Health Services performance improvement process.
  • Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates, and maintain appropriate documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one to two years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Completion of required specialized Nursing coursework for certification or certification as an RN, LPN, or LVN is highly desirable.
  • Minimum two to three years of supervisory experience, including training and supervising staff.
  • First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification required.
  • Background clearances as required by government regulations.
  • Must meet health requirements, including TB.
