About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at Red Cliffs Post Acute, a leading provider of healthcare services. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents by preparing nutritious and delicious meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Kitchen Environment: Ensure that the kitchen and cooking area are always clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Prepare Meals to Meet Dietary Needs: Prepare meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents, including pureed foods and special diets.
  • Supervise and Assist with Food Preparation: Supervise and assist with food preparation, including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
  • Present Meals in an Appealing Manner: Arrange and garnish dishes to make them visually appealing to our residents.
  • Work Collaboratively with the Culinary Team: Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure that meals are prepared efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • 2 Years of Experience as a Cook: Have at least 2 years of experience as a cook in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility: Have experience working in a skilled nursing facility, preferably in a dietary or culinary role.
  • Servesafe Certification: Possess Servesafe certification, or be willing to obtain it.
