RN PRN Gastroenterology and Hepatology Specialist

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Gastroenterology and Hepatology team as a PRN RN. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex gastrointestinal and hepatic conditions.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience, with consideration given to military RN experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
