Job Title: ARPA H SME - AI/ML Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise and assistance to the Government Program Manager in the execution of multiple advanced technology development programs
  • Integrate and coordinate program activities with the Program Manager and other government and support team members
  • Perform detailed task planning and oversee execution progress
  • Oversee scheduling of program activity and milestones, budget execution, and contractor progress
  • Lead programmatic and technical discussions with Government and industry teams to initiate new program concepts and discuss program planning and execution approaches
  • Present program briefings to all levels of the Government
  • Provide subject matter expertise across the health technology portfolio of projects
Requirements:
  • PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in applied Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Neural Net training
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and executing technology programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing schedule, budget, and program risks for fast-paced advanced technology programs
Desirable Attributes:
  • ARPA H, NIH or other federal grant program experience
  • Multiple years of healthcare experience working with ARPA is highly desirable
  • Experience in doing a research study as Principal investigator
  • Expertise in the acquisition of new programs, solicitations, and contracting actions - understanding Government acquisition process
