We are seeking a highly skilled Innovative Materials and Process Scientist for Agile Manufacturing to join our team at SURVICE Engineering Company. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in accelerating the development of novel materials and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute research plans to advance the state-of-the-art in novel material processing and innovative manufacturing science.
- Utilize advanced experimental and analytical techniques to investigate material properties and behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research requirements and develop sound research execution plans.
- Design and execute experiments to investigate material processing and manufacturing sciences.
- Interpret and analyze data to inform research decisions and advance the development of novel materials and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in planning, directing, managing, and executing basic and applied research supporting the design, development, assessment, and transition of innovative processing science and manufacturing technologies.
- Experience in advanced materials processing, including ultra-high performance nano, hybrid, multifunctional materials, and multiscale structural materials processing.
- Experience independently executing research programs as a Principal Investigator (PI)/co-PI with a total cumulative value of at least $500,000.
- Experience in writing proposals, reports, technical program summaries, PowerPoint presentations, and journal publications.
