Astrion is seeking a talented Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst to deliver comprehensive technical support throughout the entire lifecycle for diverse types of combat craft, including boats, amphibious vehicles, Patrol Coastal Class ships, specialty vessels, life rafts, inflatable crafts, unmanned vehicles, and related systems for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division's Combatant Craft Division.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Ideal candidates will possess:

Five (5) years of dedicated professional experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, particularly in mechanical and electrical systems within a maritime context.

A high school diploma, relevant military experience, completion of a trade/industrial program, or GED equivalent is mandatory.

A current Secret Clearance is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Successful candidates will demonstrate:
The capability to address technical challenges

Training in engineering quality assurance methodologies

A solid understanding of engineering principles to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Proficiency in operating and testing equipment to verify effective and safe processes.

The ability to interpret technical drawings and contribute to the quality assessment of design and testing materials.

Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively under project timelines.

Experience in implementing quality assurance plans in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Quality Assurance Analyst will ensure adherence to a formal and documented Quality Program Plan for all contractual work performed.

This role involves conducting quality reviews of technical design documents and meticulously documenting review outcomes for each design, utilizing established Technical Documentation Review and Approval Processes.
