We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at a reputable Level 1 Acute Care Hospital Outpatient Department in Sylmar, CA.

Job Overview:

  • This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of approximately $77,000 based on 40 hours/week and $37.50/hour.
  • We offer renewable 13-week assignments with a guaranteed weekly pay of $1,500.
  • Shifts will be during day hours, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work required.
  • Our hospital provides a fast and convenient onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Payments will be made through direct deposit on a weekly basis.

About the Position:

  • Care for pediatric patients in a clinical setting.
  • Provide basic patient care and treatment according to established medical protocols.
  • Demonstrate expertise in providing education and health coaching to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current California LVN License.
  • BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Clinical Nursing Experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a Pediatric Clinic preferred.
