Behavioral Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team at Sunflower Development Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, conducting assessments, and overseeing a team of dedicated behavior technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of programs.
- Oversee and provide ongoing training and supervision to behavior technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective programming.
- Monitor client progress, collect and analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to guide treatment plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including session notes and progress reports, to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of ABA, applying this knowledge to enhance client outcomes and drive program innovation.
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- LABA in Massachusetts
