About the Role

Sunflower Development Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our dynamic team on a full-time or part-time basis. This position has the potential to become permanent depending on clinic need after six months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to inform individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, ensuring effective programming and progress towards client goals.
  • Oversee and provide ongoing training and supervision to behavior technicians, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective implementation of programs.
  • Monitor client progress, collect and analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to guide treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including session notes and progress reports.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of ABA.
Requirements
  • Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
