Position Overview:
As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, conducting comprehensive assessments, and overseeing a team of dedicated behavior technicians. You will collaborate closely with families and other professionals to ensure effective programming and progress towards client goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify client needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles, ensuring a comprehensive and effective approach to client care.
- Provide ongoing training and supervision to behavior technicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver high-quality care.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective implementation of programs, promoting seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor client progress, collect and analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to guide treatment plans, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including session notes and progress reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of ABA, applying this knowledge to enhance client care and drive innovation within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in Massachusetts
