Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Property Management Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our affordable housing properties.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage tenant applications, lease agreements, and other property-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and upkeep.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential issues and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records related to tenant information, rent collection, and property expenses.
  • Collaborate effectively with the administrative team, management staff, and external vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License.
