Key Responsibilities:
The Media Investment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing media buying and investment strategies, ensuring our clients receive optimal integrated media plans that maximize consumer reach across diverse channels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities and a proven track record in leading strategic buying initiatives.
- Develop and recommend tactical plans, ensuring effective negotiations across designated channels.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of both online and offline marketing principles, alongside a solid understanding of media concepts.
- Evaluate media plans related to National TV linear, cinema, and video on demand (VOD).
- Collect and analyze data to produce reports, including Rankers and overnights.
- Collaborate with essential partners, including Client Operations, Strategy, Analytics, and external agencies.
- Assist in creating presentations, budget allocations, and audience development strategies.
- Analyze data to guide purchasing decisions and channel allocations, preparing post-buy documentation.
- Ensure content screening aligns with client guidelines and budget constraints.
- Lead strategic planning efforts, including presentation creation and audience development.
- Oversee daily campaign execution, ensuring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the development of strategic approaches by delivering channel insights and leveraging historical performance data.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client counterparts, managing day-to-day interactions.
- Responsible for mentoring and developing Associates and Senior Associates.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant media buying experience.
- Extensive expertise in National Video management, including Digital video and Broadcast TV.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across various teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
- A proactive approach to learning and creating innovative solutions.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a knack for unconventional solutions.
- Proficient negotiation and influence skills, grounded in industry knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Previous experience in team management is advantageous, with a focus on coaching and development.
