Job Summary

The ServiceNow Developer will play a key role in driving the adoption of ServiceNow at SDI Presence. The successful candidate will have expertise in ServiceNow customization and APIs, as well as experience in implementing IT service management modules.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ServiceNow configurations and data migrations
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to simplify user experience
  • Create custom dashboards and reports as required
  • Work with the ServiceNow Architect and Support team to develop strategies and platform upgrades
  • Experience with core ITSM processes, including Service Catalog Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Knowledge Management, Asset Management, Discovery and CMDB, Self-Service Portal, and interfaces with SCCM and Netcool
  • Create and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services
  • Generate operational reports and KPI analysis
  • Monitor application health, usage, and compliance
  • Maintain production system reliability through change management
  • Transform functional requirements into technical designs and development tasks
  • Perform functional testing and defect resolution
  • Assist with technical design and documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow
  • Perform version upgrades as approved

Requirements
  • 4 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field required
  • Experience implementing Service Catalog, MID Server, CMS, and integrations with LDAP and other applications external to ServiceNow
  • 3+ years of experience with ITIL Service Management processes and ITIL Foundations certification a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience with JavaScript, database technologies, and web technologies
  • 3-5 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Application Developer certifications preferred
  • Proven experience in delivering ServiceNow for organizations of 5000+ users
  • Configuration Management Database (CMDB) experience and familiarity with User Interface design and User Experience concepts
  • Experience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology
