Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper I/II to join our team at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of assigned areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and sanitation of equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and fixtures.
  • Set up and move furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Perform related services, such as bed moves, stocking housekeeping supplies, and collecting soiled linen.
  • Transport full linen carts to designated distribution locations throughout the hospital.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral directions in English at the 12th grade level.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
