Job Overview

Position Summary:
We are looking for dedicated and skilled Field Construction Technicians to support our operations. This position provides practical training, pathways for career growth, and the opportunity to engage in significant construction initiatives.

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct on-site evaluations of construction materials, such as soil, concrete, asphalt, rebar, and steel
  • Record observations using a digital device and compile comprehensive daily reports
  • Ensure adherence to project guidelines and quality benchmarks
  • Collaborate with a Senior Field Technician for initial training and skill development
  • Travel directly to work sites (mileage will be reimbursed)

Required Qualifications:

  • Background in construction materials evaluation (preferred)
  • Knowledge of testing procedures including soil compression, slump tests, and density assessments
  • Certifications such as NICET and INDOT are advantageous
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screening and background investigation
