Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel assignment in New York. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating and collaborating with physicians and other health team members
  • Providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
  • Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transporting patients as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this Speech Language Pathologist position, you must have:

  • One to three years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
