Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and perform repairs, installation, and modifications of piping, plumbing fixtures, equipment, and facilities.
  • Plan, prioritize, assign, and review the work of staff responsible for plumbing, gas, domestic water, and swimming pool maintenance.
  • Estimate time and material costs of work orders and projects, and maintain accurate records.
  • Establish preventive maintenance schedules and recommend priorities for repair projects.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency situations as directed.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • License to perform testing of backflow preventers.
  • KY Journeyman Plumbing license.
  • Licensed through Kentucky Gas Association to perform annual gas line inspections.
  • Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and written.
  • Ability to work with various types of related equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, pull, kneel, push, work in confined spaces, and perform work above head level for extended periods of time.
  • Perform medium-heavy and maximum physical exertion and lift up to 50 lbs or more on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree in plumbing.
  • 2 years of supervisory/personnel management training.
Salary and Benefits

$25.40/hour, Pay Grade S70.
