Job Overview

Position Title: Construction Coordinator

Salary: Competitive

General Overview:

The Construction Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the deployment of company equipment and components throughout various projects. This role ensures that contractors meet all contractual obligations and that work is executed in accordance with approved specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between department management and contractors, providing updates on inspections, subcontracting, materials, quality, progress, and any delays.
  • Proactively identify and address site issues that may hinder project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to assist contractors during installation processes.

Classification: Non-Exempt

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: 30-50 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the Supervisor or Department Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory or management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in construction coordination or management.
  • Possession of a Journeyman or equivalent license.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
  • Experience in a noisy construction environment.
  • Capability to navigate uneven terrain safely.
  • Ability to drive in urban traffic.

Physical Requirements:

  • Driving medium-sized work vehicles.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical capability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, and/or kneel regularly.
