Commercial Construction Superintendent - Hickory

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our client's team in Hickory, NC. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on commercial construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily site operations, including coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure all work is completed to specifications.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during construction in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain open lines of communication among all team members.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations.
