Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities. This position requires a versatile individual who can handle a diverse range of tasks, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Allied Power Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing or arranging for the repair of all building operating systems on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
  • Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
  • Carry out simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Use mechanical skills, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations with proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
  • Experience using power and hand tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Capability of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift Operation.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the role.
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time or until the end of the assigned shift.
  • Lift 40 lbs safely and properly as needed throughout the assigned shift with or without assistance.

Estimated salary: $65000 - $85000 per year.
