Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Community First Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all computerized tomography imaging studies while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all computerized tomography imaging studies and administration of contrast media with appropriate application of technical and positioning protocols, safety procedures, radiation protection, and proper image identifying criteria.
  • Verify physician orders for instructions from requesting physician and consult with radiologists as necessary.
  • Explain procedures and provide education to patients as appropriate.
  • Perform equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks as needed.
  • Operate hospital computer systems and report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Responsible for departmental records, accurately and promptly documenting patient information, exam dates, film/image markers, clinical history, complaints, allergies, etc.
  • Communicate reactions, complications, changes in condition, etc. to radiologists, physicians, supervisors, peers, and nursing units as necessary.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in CT Scan.
  • Graduate from an approved program in radiologic technology.
  • CT x-ray equipment system, contrast injector, film laser printer, PCs.
  • IEMA License; AART registration or eligible; CT certification or eligibility by the ARRT.
