We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Cardiology team at Thomas Jefferson University. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in our ambulatory setting.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with acute and complex chronic conditions, including medication side effects, immobility, and fluid and electrolyte imbalance.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to make diagnoses and develop individualized plans of care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- BLS certification.
- Cardiology experience preferred.
