About the Role

As a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler at TreeHouse Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our production facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective maintenance planning and scheduling strategies to maximize system availability, throughput, quality, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to reduce equipment repair time and minimize downtime
  • Accurately document work orders in SAP, including work description, time estimates, and proper codes
  • Identify and order parts and tools required for maintenance work
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering personnel to develop the weekly maintenance schedule
  • Manage the PM program daily, ensuring consistency of format for all job plans and work lists
  • Ensure new equipment information, parts, PMs, etc. is properly captured in SAP prior to start-up
  • Work with maintenance leads to ensure spares are stocked at appropriate levels
  • Manage the timing and SAP system output for PM and PdM work
  • Complete job plans with manpower scheduling and parts verification per company standards
  • Assist in developing the master plan for outages/changeovers and tracking breakdown events
  • Manage the life of notifications/work orders, ensuring correct closing codes are applied to completed work orders
  • Provide training, guidance, and coaching to maintenance employees
  • Conduct root cause analysis on production equipment and recommend or implement corrective actions
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in a relevant technical area and/or 7+ years of relevant experience as a maintenance craft in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Very strong SAP PM & MM (Power User) skills
  • Familiarity with Lean methods and processes
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to handle multiple priorities
