Job SummaryWe are seeking a Professional Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing Geotechnical and Infrastructure Practice in our Seattle office. The successful candidate will work directly with our geotechnical engineers to support clients and technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with Aspect geotechnical engineers to support clients and technically challenging projects.
- Prepare proposals and budgets for new projects.
- Plan and coordinate subsurface exploration programs.
- Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and calculations.
- Prepare written geotechnical reports.
- Manage project schedules, scopes of work, and financial aspects.
- Develop new opportunities with existing clients.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Coordinate and oversee construction oversight programs.
- Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university with geotechnical engineering coursework.
- Professional Engineer's License in the State of Washington or ability to obtain it within 6 months of starting.
- At least 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of project management experience.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
- Ability to travel long distances and accommodate occasional overnight travel.
- Valid U.S. Driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
The minimum salary for this role is $93,875, and the maximum salary is $122,040. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), and other benefits to eligible employees.
