- Experience: Two years' experience in a clerical role in a healthcare environment, with a strong focus on patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
- Communication: Develop effective communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, outside businesses, and other departments, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Call Management: Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate party and transferring when necessary, while taking complete and accurate messages.
- Patient Registration: Register, pre-certify, and schedule patients accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient eligibility of insurance utilizing assigned tools and resources, update demographic and insurance information as needed, and copy information into the patient's account.
- Data Entry: Obtain demographic and insurance information from patients in a pleasant, efficient manner and input data accurately into the patient management system.
Shift: 08:00 am – 05:30 pm
Compensation:Pay Range: $18 - $20/hr.
Contract Duration:6 Months contract (Strong possibility of extension)
