Position Overview:
Intermountain Health is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our team as an Obstetric Hospitalist/Laborist. This role is pivotal in supporting our healthcare facility's labor and delivery services.

Schedule:
The typical full-time schedule consists of 7 shifts per month, each lasting 24 hours.

Facility Details:
Our facility features an 11-bed Labor & Delivery unit equipped with 2 operating rooms for cesarean sections. We also provide 24/7 access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine consultations and have a Level III NICU on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
As an OB Hospitalist, your primary focus will be on ensuring safety and quality of care while fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the growth of our program.

Safety:
You will be responsible for being readily available to respond to any urgent or emergent situations that may arise during your shifts in the Labor and Delivery unit.

Quality:
It is essential for the Hospitalist to continually enhance their medical knowledge and skills. This can be achieved through inter and intradisciplinary collaboration, staying updated with the latest ACOG/SMFM guidelines, attending relevant conferences, and participating in simulation training.

Culture:
As a leader within the labor and delivery team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment where effective communication is prioritized, and team morale is high.

Growth:
OB Hospitalist programs are relatively new across the country, and best practices are continuously evolving. We collaborate with our OB Hospitalists to innovate and adapt our program to meet the changing landscape of labor and delivery.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position is $254,153.14 for working 6 shifts of 24 hours each month.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- At least one year of obstetric practice experience beyond residency
- Formal training in electronic fetal monitoring interpretation
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the relevant state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
