Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a School Health Services Coordinator at Magnolia Independent School District.

About the Role:

This is an exempt position that requires a strong background in nursing, with a focus on providing health services to students. The ideal candidate will have experience working in community health and be able to implement comprehensive health programs for campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care utilizing professional assessment skills, the nursing process, and established school health protocols
  • Serve as health advocate for students
  • Coordinate management system to administer medications to students at school
  • Develop and coordinate continuing evaluation of campus health program
  • Participate in development of campus health education curriculum and provide health education to individuals and groups
  • Collaborate with other professionals regarding implementation of health-related Individual Education Plan (IEP) items

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
  • Valid registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners
  • Certified by Texas Department of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening
  • CPR Certification

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
