Your Key Responsibilities

The Infection Prevention Manager role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills for working with teams, physicians, committees, and senior management. You will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the clinical work of staff, identifying competency and training needs, coordinating and overseeing training, and utilizing senior area staff to assist with training and providing clinical expertise.

You will also be expected to acquire and maintain current knowledge of infection prevention professional society guidelines, best practices, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating this through attending infection prevention conferences and workshops, reviewing current infection prevention literature, guidelines, and national standards, and networking with Health System and external Infection Prevention Specialists.
