At the Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital, we strive to provide exceptional psychiatric nursing care to our patients. As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse II, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Vermont's most vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent psychiatric nursing care to patients in a 25-bed, state-of-the-art facility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont.
- Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Environmental Factors
Duties primarily performed in a clinical setting. Work may require travel off-site.
