Responsibilities:- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.
- Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.
- Instruct patients and families according to the teaching plans.
- Communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
- Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
