Pediatric Developmental Medicine Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Developmental Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Penn State Health Children's Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in our Pediatric Developmental Medicine division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and experience working with children with developmental disorders, including autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and genetic disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial new patient evaluations and routine follow-up visits in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Work alongside other Advance Practice Providers and physicians in a collaborative and collegial environment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex medical needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and families

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required
  • Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required
  • Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as an NP in the area of practice specialization is preferred
