Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment in our hospitals and external facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and maintain medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections and perform performance testing on medical equipment.
  • Operate sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation to inspect and test medical equipment.
  • Analyze test data and prepare reports as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of biomedical equipment commonly used in general care areas.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in biomedical equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3 years of experience in repair of biomedical equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
