Healthcare Technology Specialist

The Biomedical Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of medical devices across various healthcare settings. This position involves the installation, inspection for electrical safety, routine maintenance, performance evaluations, and both major and minor repairs of medical apparatus.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize advanced testing equipment to conduct thorough inspections and performance assessments of medical devices.
- Analyze testing data and prepare comprehensive reports based on findings.
- Maintain a deep understanding of biomedical equipment typically utilized in general care environments.
- Engage with advanced life-support systems and other sophisticated medical technologies, preparing for potential advancement to a Senior Biomedical Technician role.
- Execute tasks outlined for the Associate Biomedical Technician role as necessary.
Required: An Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent training in Electronics Technology, Military, or Technical Training. A valid driver's license and proof of insurance may be required if driving is part of the role.
Preferred: A minimum of three years of experience in the repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
