Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards of nursing practice, and governmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement nursing services programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities.
  • Collaborate with the physician, Medical Director, nursing staff, and outside consultants to develop and approve the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident.
  • Ensure accurate completion of forms and reports for the admission, transfer, and discharge of each resident, including the nursing portion of the PAE, Initial Nursing Assessment, Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Care Plan, and the Annual MDS.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse in good standing with a current state license.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in long-term care and/or acute care setting.
  • Minimum of two (2) years management/supervisory experience.
  • Current/active CPR certification.
