Nursing Professional Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nursing Professional Development Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in influencing professional role competence and professional growth of learners in a variety of settings, and will support lifelong learners in an interprofessional environment that facilitates continuous learning and development.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing, nursing education, or a health-related program, and will possess a strong background in adult learning principles, curriculum and program development, and program evaluation. They will also have a minimum of two years of teaching experience and be certified in nursing professional development or a related clinical or educational certification.
As a Nursing Professional Development Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing practice gaps, identifying learning needs, and establishing a plan that prescribes strategies, alternatives, and resources to achieve expected outcomes. You will also implement the plan, coordinate educational initiatives and activities, and facilitate a positive learning and practice environment.
