Job Description

At Bank of America, we are committed to helping our clients achieve their financial goals through innovative solutions and exceptional service. As a Data Steward Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Global Payments Solutions team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Work closely with regulators, internal audit, and GCOR to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Provide data insights and recommendations to business leaders, informing strategic decisions and driving business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including subject matter experts, leaders, and teams globally.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in data management, data controls, and governance roles or payments-related roles with a data focus.
  • Strong understanding of payments data, commercial banking transaction data, and business data domains.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and drive timely decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts for executive stakeholders.
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, work-intensive organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years in payments roles.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Knowledge of data management disciplines, including data strategy, data governance, data architecture, and data security.
  • Experience with dealing with global data issues and regulations.
